The Reel

handling, the Okuma Trio Hybrid Tech 65 Spinning Baitfeeder
Reel delivers an intelligently designed, agile and rugged

technology including the powerful Dual Force Drag, elliptical gear

Baitfeeding system
Feeding line to a striking fish on a spinning reel while
maintaining close control over the line is difficult on a spinning
reel. New Trio Baitfeeders, utilizing Okuma’s forward-thinking
Cross over construction, solve this issue. Operation of the
baitfeeding system is simple. On the rear of the reel a switch
fully disengages the gears and drag system from the spool. A
secondary micro-click drag system governs how freely line is made
available to the bait, preventing overruns. Biting fish feel no
resistance, while total control is maintained over both the line
and the reel. One turn of the reel handle automatically disengages
the baitfeeding system and instantly re-engages the drive and drag
system.

Precision Elliptical Gearing
The revolutionary Precision Elliptical Gearing design uses
elliptical shaped oscillation gears which provide exceptional line
lay, improved smoothness and maximum long-life durability. The
Precision Elliptical Gearing gears are always engaged and provide a
very smooth spool stroke, eliminating the spool from jumping as
commonly found on many reels.

The Rod
Built with sensitivity in mind, the Okuma Sensor Tip Plus
Spin Rod is all about durability and good bite detection.
It features original star drag tapers from an integrated clear
glass tip, sensitive, strong and powerful tips plus carbon twill
